| Aaron Jensen was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. He studied composition at York University. His creative offerings have been performed across North and South America, Asia and Europe. Recent works include commissions by the world-renowned Swingle Singers, the DMS Quartet, and the Toronto-based Univox Choir - for whom Aaron acted as Composer - in Residence from 2007-2009. In 2009 Aaron completed his first orchestral commission which was premiered in Florence, Italy and has since been performed in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2006 he was financially backed to compose, orchestrate, and stage a new full-length musical entitled O.E.D.: Dementia, Devotion and the Writing of the Oxford English Dictionary. He continues to compose for stage and screen. Currently, Aaron tours internationally as a member of the award-winning a cappella quartet, Cadence. He also leads the vocal ensemble Countermeasure, which Jensen co-founded in 2010. Aaron is an active clinician and musical director and offers regular workshops across North America and Europe.
