| He received degrees in composition, piano, organ and organ composition, choral music, and choral conducting at the State Conservatoire "B. Marcello" in Venice. He has taught in several Italian conservatories, and his Professional activities also include choral conducting and choral music composition. As an Organist he has given many concerts in Italy and abroad, among them featuring concerts for the Vienna Radio and the Italian RAI. As a composer Marco Crestani is mainly involved in choral music and has written more than 300 works, nearly all published by important international editions. Many of his works have been awarded prizes and been recognized at national and international competitions. He is often invited äs a member of Jury in important national and international competitions and is member of the board of directors of several important choral societies in Italy. He is affiliated with the Italian choral music magazine, "La Cartellina". |
