| Peter Habermann was a member of the “Kreuzchor Dresden” and majored in singing in Dresden. Since 1984 he is music teacher at the secondary school for music in Wernigerode. For many years he was assistant artistic director with Friedrich Krell and the radio Youth choir Wernigerode, conducted for several years the institutions children’s choir, from 1996 to 2004 the radio Youth choir Wernigerode and founded in 2003 the chamber choir Wernigerode of the Youth choir’s former members. He always won first places at several national and international competitions. Apart from his full-time work as a singing teacher at the secondary school for music in Wernigerode he is conductor of several choir formations as well as a solo singer, announcer and presenter, composer and lecturer for vocal training. |
