| Werner Jung-Faber, born on 9th July 1949 in Leihgestern near Gießen (Hessen), choir conductor and music teacher at different schools and at the institute for musicology and musical education at the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen; for many years choir conductor of the Collegium Musicum Vocale of the University Gießen; since more than 30 years choir conductor of amateur choirs, numerous awards at national and international choir competitions (e.g. category winner at the International Choir Competition in Budapest and at the International Radio Competition “Let the peoples sing”), founder and board member of the International Choir Conductor Association (ICV), juror at national and international choir competitions, guest lecturer at workshops for choir conductors and choirs, experiences with rock, pop and jazz as a band musician; arranger and composer; author at 11 different music publishers. |
