She made her first attempts at setting poems to music at the end of the nineties, which her husband, Hans Kunze who died in 2008, had written. She published four of their Saxon songs in “Wie lieb ich dich, mein Sachsenland”. Hannelore Kunze has been a senior student since 1999, taking part in lectures and courses of the TU and the Conservatory “Carl Maria von Weber” (e.g. history of music, setting, counterpoint, harmony, theory of musical forms and musicology).
